What Syncs — On Every Platform

The same integration engine powers all of Aviatize's accounting connections. The depth is identical regardless of which platform you use.

Real-Time — Not Batch

Every invoice, payment, and credit memo syncs the moment it happens in Aviatize. No nightly batch, no manual export.

Line-Item GL Mapping

Aircraft revenue, instructor revenue, landing fees, and fuel surcharges arrive as separate line items mapped to the correct accounts.

Deferred Revenue

Prepaid packages and ab-initio contracts book as deferred revenue and recognize as flights are flown — automatically.

Auto-Correcting

Billing corrections generate a negative invoice and replacement that both sync immediately. No manual journal entries.

Frequently asked questions

Which accounting platforms does Aviatize integrate with?

Aviatize has live integrations with QuickBooks Online, Exact Online, and Sage Intacct. Xero, MYOB, FreshBooks, Zoho Books, and Oracle NetSuite are in progress. If your platform is not listed, the REST API lets you build a custom connection, or you can request support directly.

Is the accounting sync real-time or batch?

Real-time. Every invoice, payment, credit memo, and customer event syncs the moment it happens in Aviatize — not overnight, not at end of week, not when you remember to press a sync button. This is the core difference between Aviatize and most flight school platforms that claim accounting integration.

Does the integration handle deferred revenue for flight packages and ab-initio contracts?

Yes. Prepaid block-hour packages and ab-initio contracts book to a deferred revenue account when sold. Revenue recognizes into the correct accounts as flights are flown — not when the package is paid for. This applies to all supported accounting platforms.

Can Aviatize handle my country's VAT or sales tax requirements?

Yes. Aviatize handles VAT for EU schools (via Exact Online and PEPPOL e-invoicing), GST for Australian and New Zealand schools (via MYOB and Xero), and state-level sales tax for US schools. Tax codes are configured at setup and applied automatically to every invoice.

We are still on QuickBooks Desktop — what should we do?

Intuit is sunsetting QuickBooks Desktop features and pushing customers to QuickBooks Online. If you are on Desktop, now is a natural time to move — both to QuickBooks Online and to a flight school billing system that connects to it in real time. Aviatize's onboarding team helps with the full migration.

Do all accounting integrations cost extra?

No. All accounting integrations are included on Plus, Premium, and Enterprise plans at no additional charge. You pay for the plan that fits your operation, not per integration.
