What to expect

ACSS focuses tightly on the operational safety side of Part 135 charter and Part 91 high-end operations. Expect FAA leadership presenting on regulatory direction, ACSF leadership on industry safety initiatives, IS-BAO/IS-BAH auditor and registrant content, peer exchange between operators on SMS implementation, ASAP and FOQA program operations, and emerging topics in fatigue management, mental health, and just culture. The agenda is decidedly practitioner-level rather than academic — sessions are run by current and former chief pilots, directors of safety, and ACSF auditors. The 2026 Symposium ran April 7–9 at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach in a scenario-based immersive learning format built around a day in the life of an operator.
