Dopravný úrad Compliance for Slovak Flight Schools

EASA Part-FCL & Part-ORA Ready

Aviatize is built for the documentation discipline Dopravný úrad's Civil Aviation Division expects from Slovak ATOs. JetAge (SK.ATO.10 at Bratislava and Trenčín), Slovak Training Academy (Košice, heli-focused), and the University of Žilina's pilot school (FPEDaS, the only civil pilot school in former Czechoslovakia, founded 1974) all operate under the EASA Part-FCL / Part-ORA framework.

In short

Is Aviatize Dopravný úrad compliant?

Dopravný úrad — the Slovak Transport Authority established by Act No. 402/2013 Coll. on 1 January 2014 — is Slovakia's EASA Part-FCL competent authority through its Civil Aviation Division, the successor to the former Slovak Civil Aviation Authority. Slovakia joined the Eurozone on 1 January 2009 and operates within the European Common Aviation Area.

Frameworks supported

  • Slovak Civil Aviation Act 143/1998 — Act on Civil Aviation
  • EASA Part-FCL — Flight Crew Licensing
  • EASA Part-ORA — Approved Training Organisations
  • EASA Part-DTO — Declared Training Organisations
  • European Common Aviation Area — ECAA Agreement (2006)

Running a flight school under Dopravný úradregulations means juggling training records, instructor qualifications, aircraft maintenance schedules, and student progress — all while making sure every document is audit-ready. Most schools still rely on spreadsheets and paper files. There's a better way.

Aviatize is the operating system for flight schools — a single platform where scheduling, training management, billing, maintenance tracking, and Dopravný úrad compliance all come together. No more chasing missing documents or scrambling before an audit.

Frequently asked questions

Who is Slovakia's civil aviation regulator?

Slovakia's regulator is the Transport Authority (Dopravný úrad), established by Act No. 402/2013 Coll. effective 1 January 2014, succeeding the former Slovak Civil Aviation Authority. Its Civil Aviation Division is the EASA Part-FCL and Part-ORA competent authority for Slovakia, headquartered at M. R. Štefánik Airport in Bratislava.

Does Slovakia have a flag-carrier cadet programme?

Not currently. Air Slovakia (founded 1993) lost its AOC on 2 March 2010 and dissolved in June 2010; SkyEurope also defunct (2009). Smartwings Slovakia (Bratislava-based charter) participates in the Smartwings Group cadet programme, but that training runs through F-AIR in the Czech Republic, not Slovakia. Slovak ATOs like JetAge instead feed AirExplore, Go2Sky, and Ryanair.

How does Aviatize help Slovak flight schools stay compliant with the Dopravný úrad?

Aviatize keeps bilingual Slovak and English training records — Slovak for Dopravný úrad documentation discipline, English for ICAO operations and international cohorts — with audit-ready records for Dopravný úrad inspections under EASA Part-FCL and Part-ORA. It handles EUR billing with multi-currency invoicing, multi-base operations across Bratislava (LZIB), Košice (LZKZ), Trenčín (LZTN), Poprad-Tatry (LZTT), and Žilina–Dolný Hričov, and ATPL pipeline tracking for graduates feeding Smartwings Slovakia, AirExplore, Go2Sky, and Ryanair.
