Careers at Aviatize
Every flight school on the planet will need software to run their operations. We are building it. This is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to define an entire industry category.
We do not have a list of open roles. We have a list of problems to solve. If you are the kind of person who gets excited by that, keep reading.
The Opportunity
There are thousands of flight schools worldwide, training hundreds of thousands of student pilots every year. Most of them manage scheduling on whiteboards, track progress in binders, and send invoices from spreadsheets. The aviation training industry is a $15B+ market that still runs like it is 1995. We are going to change that.

Why Aviatize
Flight schools worldwide still run on spreadsheets, paper logs, and duct-taped tools. We are replacing all of it. The market is enormous, the competition is asleep, and we are just getting started.
No month-long sprint cycles. No death by committee. You will ship real features to real customers every single week. Your code runs in production, not in staging limbo.
We serve flight schools across continents, from FAA to EASA jurisdictions. You will solve problems that span regulatory frameworks, languages, and cultures.
We obsess over the details. Clean architecture, thoughtful UX, performant code. We would rather ship one thing that is excellent than ten things that are mediocre.
Who We Are Looking For
We are a small team with outsized ambitions. We do not hire for roles, we hire for impact. If you thrive with autonomy, move fast, and want to build something that matters, you might be our kind of person.
You see a problem, you fix it. You do not wait for someone to write you a ticket. You think about what needs to happen next and make it happen.
You have built things you are proud of. Side projects, open source, a startup that did not work out, whatever. You write code because you love creating things that work.
You are not precious about your ideas. You take feedback well, you learn fast, and you are comfortable being wrong. The best idea wins, regardless of who has it.
You do not cut corners. You write tests. You think about edge cases. You review your own code before asking someone else to. Good enough is not in your vocabulary.
How We Work
Work from wherever you do your best thinking. Our team spans the US and Europe.
No layers of management. Everyone talks to customers. Everyone ships code.
Our customers are flight schools training real pilots. You will see the impact of your work.
Locations
We hire remotely across compatible time zones. If you can overlap with US Mountain or Central European time, we can make it work.
Our US headquarters, surrounded by some of the busiest flight training airports in the country. Sun, planes, and tacos.
Our European base at the heart of EASA aviation, close to customers across the continent. History, bikes, and waffles.
Convince Us
We do not post job listings. If you think you belong here, tell us why. Send us something that shows what you can do, whether that is a portfolio, a GitHub profile, a side project, or a two-paragraph email that makes us want to reply.
The bar is high and the team is small. That is exactly why each person matters so much.
